Trip.com Hotel Price Tracker: get an alert the moment your hotel gets cheaper
Hotel prices on Trip.com move every day — sometimes several times a day. TripHunts is a free Telegram bot that watches the exact hotel, dates and guests you tell it to, and messages you when the price drops at least 5%.
Why track a hotel price at all?
Because hotel prices are not fixed. The same room, same dates, same guests can cost noticeably less on Tuesday than it did on Saturday. Demand shifts, promotions start and end, other guests cancel. If you check the price manually, you'll catch a drop only by luck — and short-lived dips are usually gone within hours.
A price tracker turns that luck into a routine: the checking happens around the clock, and you only hear about it when there is actually something worth acting on.
How the TripHunts tracker works
- Send the bot a Trip.com hotel link — the hotel you're eyeing or one you already booked.
- Set your dates, guests and the price you saw. Prices are checked for your exact stay: dates, rooms, adults, and children with their ages — so the number in the alert is your real total, not a teaser rate.
- Wait for the ping. When the price falls 5% or more below the price you saw, an alert lands in your Telegram with the current price and a booking link.
Checks speed up as your trip approaches or the price gets close to your target — from roughly every 12 hours up to hourly. Up to 10 trackers can run at once, and each one retires automatically after your check-in date.
Sold-out hotel? Track that too
If the hotel shows no rooms for your dates, set an availability watch instead: the bot pings you the moment a room comes back — usually because someone cancelled — so you can grab it before anyone else notices.
What it costs
Nothing. TripHunts is free, has no signup, and works in a regular Telegram chat on any phone or desktop. If you book through an alert, TripHunts may earn a small commission from Trip.com — the price you pay is Trip.com's own price either way.
